Business Development Intern
Job brief
As a Business Development Intern, you will support the team in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through research, outreach, and lead generation. You’ll assist in maintaining a strong sales pipeline and help in client acquisition efforts. This internship offers hands-on exposure to client communication, proposal creation, and digital marketing industry insights.
You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to understand client needs, contribute to tailored solutions, and gain practical experience in business growth strategies within a digital agency environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in identifying potential clients through research and prospecting.
- Support lead generation efforts and maintain an organized database of prospects.
- Help prepare customized proposals, pitch decks, and presentations.
- Coordinate with internal teams to gather information for client proposals.
- Conduct basic market research and competitor analysis.
- Assist in follow-ups, scheduling meetings, and maintaining communication with prospects.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to improve business development strategies.
- Support the transition of new clients to the account management team.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Interest in sales, marketing, and client relationship management.
- Good research and analytical skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn.
- Bachelor’s/Master’s student in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Knowledge or interest in digital marketing and social media is an added advantage.
